Wow what a fantastic diverse 54 mile ride we had today along the coast of North Wales following the NCN 5 cycle path almost the entire way around the coastline. Out from Prestatyn through Rhyl and then down to the absolutely gorgeous seaside resort of Llandudno which sits in the shadow of the Great Orme, (donuts on the promenade) then onward along the bay around to Conway and the spectacular Conwy Castle. Then continuing along the coastline to Bangor (via one hell of a serious series of cycle ramps!) and the must see attraction in Bangor - the Bangor Pier. Some nice little (steep) climbs today & very pleased that my new bike performed very well on an 18% climb! 🥺 we eventually made our way to Caenarfon . Of course our Airbnb stop is at the top of another hill in Caenarfon but this fantastic old historic house where we each have our own bedroom. What an absolutely brilliant day - perfect sunshine the whole day round, beautiful coastline stunning scenery, fabulous friends. absolutely love North Wales. 🏴🏴
