26/5/2022. Minibike packing adventure today. Cycled to the train station & took the local Marston line from Woburn Sands to Bedford. Only £6 return! From there it’s easy to join the NCN 51 over to RSPB Sandy for lunch with work colleagues. The 51 from Bedford is an absolutely beautiful route, along the Bedford Embankment, River Ouse & wooded trails. You can also join the bridleway through the nature reserve. Almost feels like you’re on a European cycling holiday! It did mean cycling back though! Fun day out on my little adventure. Certainly opens up lots of options.
