Steep, steep but spectacular! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Today we headed out from Caenarfon after a fantastic breakfast of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon next to the castle walls and then had a brutal headwind and some spectacular climbs 15%/ 16%, but new bike performing very well! Also some beautiful fast descents. 💨💨 to our stop in accommodation - a stunning complex in Pistyll. My pals decided to do the coastal walk to Nant Gwerthyn but I decided to do the cycle ride, it was only 8 miles - 4 miles there and 4 miles back but my God it was amazing - totally spectacular but silly silly stupid climbs, we’re talking well in excess of 20% I had to concede defeat when I got to that gradient! Had a disappointing Welsh rabebit for lunch but an amazing Indian curry for dinner just goes to show!! 😂 beautiful day, magnificent views, fab friends, steep up & steep down!
