Sea cliffs, Long man of Wilmington, Brighton pier & celeb cyclist!

Updated: Jul 3, 2022

Day 4 of our South Downs adventure. We decided to ride the 32 miles from Eastbourne to Brighton to catch our train home. What a stunning route. šŸ˜šŸ˜ combination of cycle path, forest trails, quiet stunning country roads & through Newhaven then along the promenade into Brighton. A different but equally beautiful way to experience the South Downs region. Amazing views at Seaford looking back on the white cliffs of the Seven Sisters. Stopped at a fab cyclists cafe near the Long Man of Wilmington for an awesome toastie & met the totally amazing & incredibly talented actress Sophie Okenado who’s also a cyclist! Chatting to her a little bit about our South Downs Way ride was beyond awesome! She was just out for a bike ride so it would not have been appropriate to ask her for a selfie! Anyway on to Brighton, glorious sunny day / heaving with people, just great to sit by the sea & have a celebratory drink after our epic adventure! 159 miles over last 4 days in an absolutely beautiful part of the world with great friends. šŸ˜šŸ˜ happy happy days! Recommended!!
