Another successful BCG Club C+ weekend away of epic proportions… This year we explored Norfolk. Great weather, great food excellent company!
Three rides over the weekend and over 165 miles of cycling. Happy days. And the sunshine out the entire weekend you couldn’t ask for more.
We saw the very best Norfolk has to offer - exploring along the river Yare and then a coastal route taking in Blakeney, Wells next to the sea, Holkham Hall & Sandringham Estate. Didn’t see Charles on Sunday we explored the Norfolk east coast and the Norfolk Broads.
Of course C+ weekends away and not just about amazing cycling but they’re also a great social time - a wonderful meal out on the Friday night and then after our busy day of cycling on Saturday we had a fab meal in the rooftop gardens restaurant overlooking Norwich.
Cycling in Norfolk was delightful, so many quiet roads and very considerate drivers.
There’s something just magical about being by the seaside - it lifts your spirit especially on a weekend with incredible weather.
Everybody seemed to enjoy themselves - the routes, the views, the stops and the meals. It was a delight cycling everyone. I cannot believe we made the whole weekend completely incident free - how lucky are we?
