Taking part in a cycling adventure weekend with my club down in The New Forest. Today we went on a gravel ride. It was very warm with temperature around 30°, so actually it was really nice to be cycling in the shaded woodland areas of The New Forest. starting in Sway we headed out through the trails down to Brokenhurst through the forest including a petrified forest & taking in part of the Rhinefield Ornamental Drive - then a cream tea before looping back on an old railway bridge. As is always the case with the new forest, came across loads of donkeys, ponies and horses just free roaming across the heath. A great afternoon ride in a lovely part of England.
