Coast-to-coast Italy - Day 1

And we're off !! a 4 am start to get the first flight out the morning to Venice, Italy. First time I've travelled with a bike, it was quite gut wrenching seeing it go through the oversize baggage control, but good news we collected our bikes safely at the other end!!!

We were collected at the airport by Jason our European cycling tours rep, they're taking our bikes and will see them again tomorrow 🙏🙏 we then caught the water bus over to the Lido where were staying- right on the waterfront.

An afternoon having a lovely lunch and exploring the island of Venice. So, so pretty - lots of photos were taken today!

Yeh won't be cycling across Italy on this!
