The second of three bank holiday weekends this May. This one a special one for the King's Coronation. 👑 🤴 I always ride on a Saturday morning so decided to put on a breeze ride, thinking one or two people might turn up! actually had nine people sign up! We were out and back mostly before the rain and even managed to catch the end of the coronation and the procession on the TV. On Sunday I had the most fantastic 71 mile ride through the Northamptonshire countryside with the #girlsquad on a beautiful, BEAUTIFUL sunny day ☀️ street party after street party in every other village! A fantastic stop at a VERY very hippy place, bit of a sun trap on the Grand Union Canal at Cropredy. Monday was due to rain again, ☔️ so just a short 36 miles for me and guess what it didn't rain! Close to 130 miles and 5800 feet of elevation this weekend feeling good in preparation for Italy 🇮🇹 later in the month. Legs feel a wee bit tired now and enjoying a nice glass of Pinot! Happy days. 👑😎 🥂 🍾
