17/5/22. Officially the warmest day of the year so far. So it would be a crime not to go for a cycle ride on a day like today. simply stunning ride with a pal up through Aspley Heath, Woburn woods and onto Rushmere country Park then back via grand union canal. all the paths have dried out, although that did mean that it was quite sandy in parts - so good balance and bike handling skills needed today! LOL 🤣 I also had a serious interaction with some stinging nettles on my right leg, which is still buzzing, but doesn’t detract from today’s brilliant ride.
