Check out my route on komoot - https://www.veloann.com/post/yorkshire-day-3-seabird-cliffs-rolling-roads-quiet-lanes
So today the temperature was at least 10° less than yesterday, so we headed out on a road ride through the Yorkshire Wolds over towards the coast to Bempton cliffs. A large part of our ride was on the Yorkshire Wolds official NCN network, which I discovered on an event I took part in last year.
The Wolds are just amazing and very quiet and almost as ‘Yorkshire’s best kept secret’ and I can totally understand why - beautiful quiet country roads, many agricultural fields, and wide rolling vistas. We made our way out to the coastline to the absolutely stunning Bempton cliffs where there were literally thousands and thousands of sea birds. Today we saw puffins, guillemots, kittiwakes, razorbills, herring gulls and my favourite - gannets, they are such a beautiful bird. It really was a beautiful experience, it’s not my first time there but I always love going there.
We then headed back inland, firstly through Bridlington then on miles and miles of unspoilt quiet country roads to finish at 47 miles. Another fab day of cycling with great friends. 🚴♀️🚴♀️😎😎

Awesome pic taken by Susanna through the scope

Yes we did cycling in between bird watching
